Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide support in an elementary school setting serving grades K-8. This role is based onsite in Gadsden, AZ, with contract duration from ASAP through May 27, 2026. The focus is on delivering comprehensive OT services within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observations to determine student needs
- Deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy services tailored to individual student IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to assist with eligibility determinations and planning interventions
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize student outcomes through therapeutic approaches
Qualifications and Experience:
- Arizona State Occupational Therapy License through the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card as required for school-based professionals
- Proven experience working with school-aged children, preferably within grades K-8
- Strong assessment and intervention skills with familiarity in school-based therapy practices
Location: Gadsden, AZ onsite only
